Special Conditions:
Students must (a) enroll for 3 credits of supervised research, senior thesis, or directed study during summer 2008 or the 2008-09 academic year, and (b) have had their proposals approved by the Human Subjects and/or Animal Care and Use Committee(s) if they propose to use human or animal subjects. Student recipients are expected to present their work at the Undergraduate Symposium in April 2009. Upon completion of the research project, the student and faculty/staff member are asked to submit jointly a report of approximately 500 to 1,000 words to Undergraduate Academic Awards, Office of the Provost (271 Bascom).
