The 14th Annual Undergraduate Symposium will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Union South. Along with the new location, the schedule has been revamped and includes a reception and a performance workshop in the evening where students can perform and discuss their creative process. The event is free and open to the public.
The annual Undergraduate Symposium showcases undergraduate creativity, achievement, research, service-learning and community-based research from all areas of study at UW–Madison including the humanities, fine arts, biological sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences. Last year more than 565 students presented, displayed or performed their work for members of the University, the surrounding community, family and friends.
Students presenting at the 2012 Undergraduate Symposium may be interested in applying for the Library Research Awards.
Those who are developing digital projects may be interested in applying for the week-long Digital Salon event.
